Comic con for a Cause

Welcome to the first Westfield State University Comic-Con!

We are committed to bringing you a pop cultural experience like no other. We will have comic book creators, artists, costume groups, photo ops, games, panels, and a Kid Zone. There are cool things to do in every corner, and we are certain that you, your friends, and your family will make happy memories here!

Find your way through a full weekend of fun-filled entertainment, lectures, vendors, contests, and of course… animation! This special three-day event is open to the college community and to our friends and family within the region and beyond.

Revenue from the event will go towards the Westfield State Foundation, providing our students with scholarships and aid. Additional funding will go towards Common Goods,
the Westfield State open pantry, which combats food insecurities for students in need.

Common Goods

Common Goods is a food pantry serving Westfield State University students, faculty, and staff who may be experiencing hunger or are struggling to purchase food. It is a safe, discreet, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space in which to distribute a variety of non-perishable foods and personal care items at no cost. Visitors to the pantry do not need to provide any financial documentation to use this service.

Common Goods is housed in the Second Congregational Church on Western Avenue, adjacent to the entrance to the Commuter Parking Lot.
